How Do You As Facliotators Expect To Uphold The Same Quality Care As A Long Running Established Equine Facility?
At Forever Free Equine, we believe quality care is not defined by how long a facility has existed, but by the knowledge, dedication, and standards upheld every single day. While we may be a newer facility, we bring years of hands-on experience and ongoing training in equine care, management, and horsemanship. That experience has shaped our strong foundation and clear expectations for horse health, safety, and well-being.
We operate with personalized care programs, because no two horses are the same. Each horse at FFE is cared for as an individual, with attention to their specific needs, routines, and comfort—whether that’s feeding, turnout, blanketing, training, or handling. We take the time to truly know each horse, not just manage them.
Most importantly, we take immense pride in the fact that every horse matters. At Forever Free Equine, horses are never treated as numbers or stall spaces—they are valued partners and family members. This mindset is at the heart of everything we do and is what allows us to uphold, and continually strive to exceed, the level of care expected from long-standing equine facilities.
What Are Your Main Goals As Faclitators Starting Out As A New Facility?
As facilitators starting out as a new facility, our main goal at Forever Free Equine is to intentionally build the kind of place we have always believed the equine community deserves. We are committed to creating an all-inclusive, welcoming, and family-friendly environment where everyone—regardless of age, experience level, background, or goals—feels safe, supported, and valued. At FFE, there is no room for drama, bullying, or judgment. Kindness, respect, and encouragement are non-negotiable values for both humans and horses.
We also take great pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized environment. From our barns and paddocks to our arenas and common spaces, safety and cleanliness are treated as essential parts of quality care, not extras. By setting clear expectations, leading by example, and staying hands-on every day, our goal is to foster a positive, healthy space where horses thrive and people genuinely enjoy being part of the Forever Free Equine family.
Is Your Facility A Show Facility As Well As A Laid Back All Inclusive Facility?
Yes—Forever Free Equine is both a show-focused facility and a laid-back, all-inclusive equine community. We believe the two can absolutely coexist. Our goal is to support riders who are passionate about competing while also welcoming those who simply want to enjoy horses in a positive, low-pressure environment.
We proudly support Western disciplines, including pleasure, barrels, and poles, as well as English disciplines such as hunter, jumper, dressage, and eventing. Whether your goals include stepping into the show ring, building confidence at local competitions, or preparing for higher-level events, we are equipped to help guide and support you.
Our approach is rooted in years of show experience, which allows us to offer knowledgeable coaching, proper preparation, and realistic expectations—without sacrificing kindness or enjoyment. At FFE, showing is about growth, horsemanship, and partnership, not pressure. We celebrate ambition just as much as we celebrate fun, learning, and community, making Forever Free Equine a place where both competitive riders and laid-back horse lovers truly belong.
What Is The Best Age To Begin Riding Lessons?
At Forever Free Equine, we believe any age is a great age to start being around horses. Building comfort, confidence, and respect on the ground can begin very young and is an important part of horsemanship. When it comes specifically to starting horseback riding lessons, we find that the best age to begin riding is typically around 5–6 years old and up, when a child is more physically coordinated, able to follow instruction, and emotionally ready to learn safely and confidently.
We proudly welcome students of all experience levels—whether you’re brand new to horses, returning after time away, or already competing in the show ring. There is no “one-size-fits-all” rider at FFE, and we tailor our teaching to meet each individual where they are.
To support this, we offer a wide variety of lesson options designed to help riders get started and grow at their own pace. From beginner groundwork and confidence-building sessions to discipline-specific riding lessons, our programs are built to create a positive, safe, and encouraging learning experience for every rider who joins the Forever Free Equine community.
Can I Bring My Own Tack, Trainer, or Farrier?
Yes—at Forever Free Equine, you are absolutely welcome to bring your own tack, as we believe every horse and rider should use equipment that fits properly and feels comfortable for them.
When it comes to trainers and farriers, we are open and flexible, with the understanding that clear communication and safety always come first. We work respectfully with outside professionals as long as they align with our facility rules, care standards, and scheduling policies. Our priority is ensuring consistency, professionalism, and the well-being of every horse on the property.
Forever Free Equine is built on collaboration and trust. We believe that allowing owners to maintain established relationships—while still upholding our expectations for care, respect, and safety—creates the best possible environment for both horses and humans.
What are your lesson and training package options?
At Forever Free Equine, our lesson and training packages are designed to be flexible, inclusive, and tailored to each horse and rider’s individual goals. We offer a variety of options to suit different experience levels, disciplines, and schedules—whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your skills in the show ring.
Our programs include private and group lessons, discipline-specific training in both Western and English, groundwork and horsemanship sessions, confidence-building lessons, and show preparation packages. For those looking for more consistency, we also offer customized training programs that combine lessons, rides, and ongoing goal-setting.
Because every partnership is different, we take the time to create a plan that works best for you and your horse. Our focus is on progress, safety, and enjoyment—ensuring each rider receives quality instruction and support while being part of the positive, encouraging Forever Free Equine community.
